Supporting the Community

In just a few short years, The Clayworks has made a big impression, both on its Kansas communities and throughout the region and country.

Elorapalooza 5K

Since 2012, every runner participating in the annual Elorapalooza 5K in Allison Park, Pa., receives a clay medallion, made by The Clayworks artists. Race winners are awarded Clayworks-created trophies.

Kennedy and Coe LLC displays The Clayworks’ artwork throughout its Salina office.

When Pigs Fly

McPherson Chamber of Commerce previously hosted the annual barbecue cook-off, “When Pigs Fly,” to raise awareness in the agriculture community. Clayworks artist Amy K. created this trophy and it was exactly that — a flying pig.

Elf Day

Every year, Schmiedbauer Advisory Group buys clay ornaments for their clients. It’s become a tradition for the staff to gather together on one day, prepare the ornaments for mailing, and celebrate what’s now called “Elf Day.”
